"Hot out of the OGEN oven, Freshly Baked #76 finds its roots in the cake family. This bud’s aroma is a complex mix of gas, warm creamy sweetness, and finishes with hints of spice. With dense nugs that are covered in trichomes, this cultivar really takes the cake! Our small batch buds are hand-trimmed to preserve trichomes and we use minimal packaging with a secondary seal to keep your bud fresher, longer."

Visual Appeal/Packaging - 8/10 : Arriving in a perfectly sized container, the buds were all on the medium to small side, as to be expected by the packaging. These buds sported a full winters coat of beautifully matured trichomes, almost hiding the olive-green hues underneath. Protruding through the thick frost of trichomes are small ochre-colored pistils, which provides a nice contrast in colour, completing the look of this unique flower.

Consumption Method: Joint, Bong

Smoke Quality - 8/10: With smooth inhales, and mostly smooth exhales, this was a resinous and tasty bud. Leaving a nice oil ring after the first puff, with a clean ash of salt and a dash of pepper, this flower burned evenly and for about 10 minutes in a 0.8g joint.

Aroma - 7.5/10: The initial scent is a very sweet and spicy note, mixed with a yeasty bread smell on the backend with a nice serving of gas. These are not aromas you would typically expect from a sativa dominant strain. It is interesting to say the least. This is not the typical sweet cherry cake as from your typical cake strains, but rather more of a bready note. I noticed that the spiciness from the caryophyllene toned down after a while and some creamy notes came through. I think my fondness of this strain is derived from the uniqueness of the terpene profile.

Taste - 8/10: The flavour was much more reminiscent of a cake strain, with a very sweet and creamy inhale, with that hoppy bread taste coming through on the exhale. The spiciness of the aroma is very mild when translating to taste. Very complex, any flavour chaser should give this one a try.

High/Effects - 7.5/10: I would like to categorize this as a sativa dominant hybrid, rather than true sativa. It does have uplifting and somewhat energetic effects, but this energy is accompanied by a cloudy and unfocused mind. This may be a desirable daytime effect for boosting creativity for writing, art, etc., but probably will not help you with that spreadsheet or essay. This strain has both body relaxation, and mind stimulation, which paired with its high potency, is perfect for those with ailments who require the body effects but need some mental stimulation to keep them going throughout the day.

Overall Score: 7.8/10 - YES – I would recommend to customers.
